Work Overview

I strive to partner with people and create + utilize unique content through the use of events, social media, and photography/videography.

WeWork | Community Lead | December 2019- October 2021

TLDR: I work with my team to create a community in a place where community doesn’t normally exist through the use of events and member engagement.

In my almost 2 year at WeWork I have conceptualized and created a panel series about “Doing What you Love” and what that actually means. Our confirmed speakers ranged from a local coffee shop owner to a Wall Street venture capitalist. I am our markets lead on all member communications including newsletter and a brand new “work from home” member network strategic communication plan. Helped bring in over 500 non-members to see the space and used this opportunity to create Potential new members via events. with my main focus being on our members I learned the ins and outs of each of our their businesses and pride myself in pairing companies up that can help each other grow and succeed.

REBoL Bridge Park | Photographer and Social Media Coordinator | May 2019- November 2019

TLDR: I helped create unique, creative images and utilized them through instagram stories for a brand-new fast casual concept.

REBoL is a fast casual concept out of Cleveland. I was brought on to help them build their Columbus market by photographing events, food, and the restaurant itself. Along with capturing images, I helped create compelling instagram stories to tell the brands story. Through these two techniques, @Wearerebol, has grown on instagram by over 2K followers and has seen a increase in engagement.

Below is an example of an instagram story I created to show the ease of ordering though the REBoL app. Some images are .gif and are not supported on this site.

The Wild Path | Photographer and Project Coordinator | June 2016- Current

TLDR: I help create and capture unique experience through personalized DJ experiences, event planning + coordination, and photography.

Started by my brother and sister in law as a DJ company, The Wild Path has grown into so much more. Through The Wild Path I have helped launch a live concert series in a suit store, DJ’d 30+ weddings, and capture everything ranging from a coffee festival to concerts and halloween party promo shoots.

Columbus International Film Festival | Social Media and Event Coordinator 2019

TLDR: I was brought on two week before the festival happened to plan and coordinate the event as well as create a strategy for promotion across all social platforms.

Through the Wild Path, we were approached to help put on the Oldest Film Festival in America (yeah, I was surprised it was in Columbus too). In two weeks we had to design an event footprint + order everything we needed to make it happen, create, monitor, + sell tickets, and lastly promote the event. I was in charge of Social Media + Event Planning, I developed a minimalistic vibe with hints of Hollywood, featuring multiple red carpets.

Label Me Lecter | Photographer

TLDR : A couple of friends started a band, I capture all of their shows using new creative techniques.

This is an especially fun one for me. Over the past year, I have been the official photographer for Label Me Lecter, an alternative hip hop band in Columbus. Through this I have really pushed my photographer into new and exciting areas, including using techniques like double exposures, shutter drags, and off camera flash in the concert world.

Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY) | Co-Director of Program

TLDR: I have volunteered with this organization for the past 7 years in various roles. I now serve as a Co-Director of programming, helping plan each speaker, panel, and activity for four day seminar attended by 200 high school sophomores.

When I was a sophomore in High School, I was invited to attend HOBY. It was a life changing experience and has forever taught me to give back and spend my time helping others. I came back on staff the next 4 years as a Junior Facilitator, helping lead a small group of 12 students in discussion over the four day seminar. For the past 2 years, I have helped plan the seminar as a Co-Director of Seminar, planning each and over speaker, panel, and activity. Over these 2 years, we have completely changed the seminar, only 2 speakers remain from the year before we started. We keep diversity at the core of what we wanted to show to these and presented them with speakers from Africa to Columbus’ inner city. The 2020 seminar will be my 3rd year serving in this role, and I look forward to continuing to change the seminar.

Historic Dublin Business Association (HDBA) | Event and Public Relations Coordinator 2018

TLDR: For a year I helped plan, execute, and promote 12 events for the HDBA, ranging from Wine Trails to a Chili Cook-off.

For the 2018 Calendar year, I was brought on by the HDBA Board to be their Event and Public Relations Coordinator. My tasks including contacting local business to get them involved in events, planning logistics for events, designing promotional material, and marketing said events. We were able to sell out just over half of the events, including the 350 ticket chili cook-off. larger than any in the past.

Event Marketing Strategies (EMS) | Team Lead and Sponsor Relations Coordinator

TLDR : I started as a Brand Ambassador for EMS and worked my way up to being a Sponsor Relations coordinator for the Ohio State Fair and a Team Lead for various clients.

Event Marketing Strategies is a marketing agency in Columbus Ohio. I first started working for them as brand ambassador for Nationwide Insurance during the Hockey All Star game in Columbus, I quickly started represent other companies from AEP Ohio to Piada, riding a Piada Scooter in the Pride Parade. I now am a team lead and go out and manage events for different clients all over Ohio. I also helped out for the entire span of the State fair as a sponsor relations coordinator.
